TUBBATAHA REEF

Providing home for over 700 species of fish and 360 species of coral, there are few places on this planet that offer the biodiversity found in Tubbataha. Expect to be surrounded by the brightest of colours in warm and clear waters on every dive.

WHY WE LOVE DIVING IN TUBBATAHA

The biodiversity is like nowhere else – Tubbataha is unique!

Warm clear waters full to bursting with life – what more could you want?

The Coral Triangle – it is just the best diving there is!

Diving in Tubbataha Reef

Sitting right at the top of the Coral Triangle, undoubtedly one of the World’s best dive destination, Tubbataha is ‘must-see’ place.  In 1988, this 100,000 hectare no-fishing zone was declared as the first National Marine Park by the Philippines Government, and became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993.

All things tiny to all things huge – Tubbataha offers it all. With eleven species of shark found here, including tiger and hammerheads, breeding grounds for green and hawksbill turtles and common encounters with mantas and whalesharks, the underwater experience is simply spectacular.

Expect 30-40m visibility in the March to June season, with average water temperatures of 29 degrees.  And be warned, with a limited number of permits issued and only a handful of live-aboard choices, it is best to book a year or two in advance.
