The islands of Tiran lie to the East, home to the fabulous reefs of Thomas, Jackson, Gordon and Woodhouse – deep offshore reefs that are bursting with marine life and the most colourful of corals.

 

The National Park of Ras Mohammed lies to the southwest of Sharm, and this is an amazing environment, famous across the World for the diving offered there.  Fabulous reefs, wrecks and canyons, all in a no-fishing zone.

 

The world-famous wreck of the SS Thistlegorm is also a day trip from Sharm – an early start from the marina will get you two to three dives on this Top 10 bucket list wreck dive.

 

And the ‘local’ dive sites that make up the immediate coastline of Sharm itself will not disappoint either – huge corals, abundant marine life, and best of all? Warm and clear waters!  If you haven’t been to Sharm, then you really have missed out!
