PONTA DO OURO GALLERY

Diving in Ponta do Oura

Mozambique offers a huge variety of shark species and in Ponta do Oura there have been sightings of  16 different species of shark,  including the main sightings of Tiger Sharks, Bull Sharks, Hammerhead Sharks, Silver tip Sharks, Black tip Sharks, Grey Reef Sharks, Leopard Sharks, White tip Reef Sharks and Whale Sharks.  Dive sites range between 10m and 35m.

The reefs are home to a huge variety of other marine life including dolphin, turtles, Manta Rays, Devil Rays, Eagle Rays, Ribbontail Rays, Morays, game fish, reef fish and more. The main focus is diving the shark reefs as this gives us the best of both world's and because we don't offer any dive courses, our dive sites are not restricted by having student or novice divers on the boat.

During the Humpback Whale migration which is April through November, you will often see these amazing animals breaching from the dive boat
