Diving in the Pacific Ocean

There is no disputing the fact that Truk Lagoon is the ultimate wreck diving destination, and despite the long haul to get there, this destination really delivers the goods! The fleet of Japanese vessels on the sea bed, often referred to as 'The Ghost Fleet' are simply amazing, and not reserved just for Technical divers either - depths range from as shallow at 15m. And whilst Truk is best known for its phenomenal wreck diving, the reefs are plentiful and packed with marine life.

The Solomon Islands offer a unique dive holiday. Explore the colourful reefs, distinct marine species and WWII history beneath the surface. Mostly undiscovered, the Solomon Islands provide a wide range of diving experiences including caverns, wrecks, reefs and walls, soft corals and enormous sea fans.

Papua New Guinea is remote but worth the trip! Located in the Coral Triangle, surrounded by the Bismarck, Coral and Solomon Seas, Papua New Guinea has a stunning array of marine life with sea mounds, barrier reefs, coral walls, and sea grass beds along with World War II wrecks.

It’s one mile south of Chuuk International airport, close to the main shopping area. Still a family run business, operating since 1993, the owners Bill and Kiki can still be seen here every day.

Blue Lagoon Resort : Truk Lagoon

- Blue Lagoon is located at the centre of "Operation Hailstone,” the U.S. Navy Attack on Truk Lagoon that took place in February 1944. Many WWII relics left the the Imperial Japanese Navy remain on the resort premises, including defensive “pillboxes.”
