WHERE TO DIVE

CENTRAL AMERICA

Central American Diving Holidays

For this geo-zone, think Belize, Honduras, Costa Rica and of course Mexico.  Warm waters full of soft corals and sponges, reef critters galore, and of course a great apres-dive culture too. Oh - and big stuff! Sharks, mantas, eagle rays and whalesharks. To top this, diving the cenotes is a must-do. And then there is rum. And tequila.

WHY WE LOVE DIVING IN CENTRAL AMERICA

Variety - gentle reefs to ripping currents. Critters to marine-giants too!

Do not miss the cenotes in Mexico, or the great drifts in Cozumel.

Did we mention rum? And tequila?

Deep Thought

Great hotels, great service, great food and culture, great people, and pretty awesome diving too.

Diving in Central America

Two oceans and two seas, so there has to be variety! And variety there is - from gentle reef dives to big deep blue diving, Central America really does offer the greatest variety of diving there is.

Jump into The Pacific in Socorro and dive with humpback whales, giant mantas, super schools of tuna, dolphins and huge numbers of hammerheads, or check out the great white shark safaris in Guadalupe. The Sea of Cortez has more humpbacks, sharks and sea-lions too.

Cross over to the Caribbean Sea, and Cancun, Cozumel and Isla Mujeres deliver great diving too - and a chance to dive the Cenotes should not be missed.  Then there is Honduras and Belize, Roatan and Utilla - all different in their own right, but having one thing in common - great diving!

With  10+ hour flight time from the UK, it is a long way, but one thing we know from personal experience is that once you are there, you are there - this part of the World has a unique ability to wrap its arms around you and make you forget the rest of the world.

Did we mention rum and tequila?
