Small Hope's cabins were hand built in the 60s from coral rock and hardy Andros pine. They have been a haven from the pressures of modern day living for Ambassadors, Prime Ministers and people from all walks of life. All our cabins are right on the beach, with views of swaying palm trees and turquoise waters.

The wonderful kitchen staff prepares fabulous, homemade meals to enjoy on your stay with us. The chefs grill locally caught fish and lobster caught by the guests and local fishermen whenever available. With tasty options with a Caribbean flare, to continental cuisine, there is always a wide array of fresh and delicious food and every meal. And if you need a little snack in the middle of the day, the kitchen will gladly give you a little something!  ​You'll have access to a full bar throughout the day.

At Small Hope Bay Lodge has been introducing divers and snorkelers to the Andros Barrier Reef since 1960.  There are more than 60 dive sites on the regular Small Hope Bay Lodge dive schedule, including colourful shallow reefs, coral gardens, wreck dives, breathtaking blue holes and stunning wall dives at the edge of the continental shelf, where the Tongue of the Ocean plunges to 6,000 feet.

There are three boats for diving and snorkeling to comfortably accommodate all divers and snorkelers. There are three regular daily dives, sometimes four when a night dive is scheduled. Expect a two single-tank morning dives - a deeper dive, followed by a shallow dive at a different location. You'll return to the resort for a delicious lunch and after that we do a one-tank mid-level dive.
